Let’s go on a science hike! This time lapse footage shows the stunning geology of The Narrows, which is (you guessed it) the narrowest part of Zion Canyon. Located in a plateau region across central Utah to northern Arizona and including part of New Mexico and Colorado, this gorgeous canyon was created by the erosion and uplift of rock layers over millions of years. Who do you want to take this hike with? Tag them in the comments! Thanks to @roblah for capturing this amazing footage. Like what you see here on @Science?
