This is what made me fall head over hills in love with this man. HE PRAYS FOR ME!!! This was him praying over me before I ministered. I still get nervous before I preach and he knows it. 😭😭 I never had a man pray over me, hold me and prophecy into me. He honors the call of God on my life. He has no desire to compete or make me feel like I have to choose between him and ministry. (Which I do... God, Him and family obviously are first) He covers me as I travel the world winning the world to Christ. He's taught me balance. His gentle spirit and actions speak more than his words ever could. When God brought Him into my life, God said,"This IS your good and perfect gift!" I've never met a man like my daddy until, I met you @pastorpothier you make me feel safe and covered. As long as I have you, God, and our boys... I'm set! You love my quirkiness, my combat boots, my Mohawk and the occasional splash of color in my hair. You love my tutus and self painted clothing! You are my escape and not my duty! You didn't have the best example in a father growing up, but you sure broke the mold and came out stellar! When I said I do to you five years ago it was the best decision I ever made, your unconditional love for me, taught me how to unconditionally love myself! Thank you for spending every single morning of our lives the last five years with God... that couch that you sit on and your bible that you read and mark up may be looking worn out, but you've just gotten BETTER! You're not only my best friend, my lover but my pastor and you're a great pastor. You are strong and consistent. Full of integrity. You aren't jaded. Sigh.... thank GOD! Y'all got to get delivered from PEOPLE PLEASING! In my counseling sessions the one issue is ALWAYS what will people think about us? Who cares what people say about you?!?!?! They don't want anyone to know they are having marital issues. (Hello half the world is having marriage issues) When I was getting healed during my divorce in 2006 I cared about my reputation then God set me FREE!! Still to this day my preacher friends ask us to speak at their marriage conferences until they hear i was married twice before I hit 20 years old then they go crickets on us... LOL.. thank God that He ain't like the saints of the church who judge you. I mean half of y'all been messed up to, but ain't telling nobody 👊🏼 I was married twice before I was 20 years old because of religion ... trying to run away from saints, religion.. but I grew through it!! I am who I am today Because of my testimony!! Thankfully today at 44 years old.. GOD sent me the greatest man on the planet six years ago. We are forever together!!! God is The center of it all. Don't let what people say or how they treat you effect your life another day. People with the worst past can create the best futures. God qualifies you, promotes you and loves you. Every bit of YOU He adores you. Mistakes are simply tuition payments on our life education. Your existence is not accidental. Your skills are not incidental. God shaped your destiny, so don't settle for someone else's story.
