 professor) that when the Europeans first saw Aztedc
 cities they were stunned by the grid. The Aztecs had
 city planning and that there was no rational lay out to

    Being Alone, Dude, and Food: Professor: Wings-Eating Show Hot Ones Is
 Problematic for Women

 A YouTube show that challenges contestants to eat increasingly spicy chicken wings has raised
 the ire of a Tulsa media-studies professor.
 ccording to a professor of media studies at the University of Tulsa, the YouTube show Hot
 Ones is problematic because it "manipulates inequitable gender hierarchies."
 In case you aren't familiar with Hot Ones, it's a show where the host challenges his guests to eat
 increasingly spicy chicken wings. Seems pretty harmless, right? An innocent chicken-eating show
 couldn't possibly be something that's actually hurting women, could it?
 Well, Professor Emily J. H. Contois thinks it could. According to her paper, "The spicy spectacular
 food, gender, and celebrity on Hot Ones," published in the journal Feminist Media Studies, the show
 "creates, maintains, and manipulates inequitable gender hierarchies through the interrelated
 performances of gender, food consumption, and celebrity."
 In other words: According to Contois, society just doesn't accept the idea of women eating spicy
 foods, and that is the reason that only eleven women have appeared as contestants on the show so
 far. Women, she argues, know that they don't really stand a chance on Hot Ones, because gender
 binaries "create power hierarchies by feminizing dainty, light, and sweet flavors and foods, eaten
 in small portions with restraint."
 The paper goes on to claim that society conditions people to believe that "real men" are supposed
 to "seek out and conquer" spicy foods, and that "being the type of dude who loves hot sauce is part
 of performing conventional masculinity.. through actions like disregarding risk and facing
 danger fearlessly" Women, on the other hand, aren't supposed to eat messy foods like wings, or to
 discuss topics such as the effects that spicy foods might have on their digestive tracts, because these
 topics are "often considered taboo for women to openly discuss, let alone as part of a celebrity
 persona" without adopting a sort of "cool girl" persona, which some women might not want to do.

<p>Oh yeah during a bird attack scene Hitchcock tied a bunch of fucking live birds onto Tippi Hedren’s clothes while handlers threw more birds at her and he didn’t let her take a break until one of them nearly poked her damn eye out and she outright refused to continue filming the scene and her doctor basically forced Hitchcock to let her take a bed rest. <p>“Jack Nicholson states in the documentary <i><b>Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures</b></i>, that Kubrick was great to work with but that he was “<i>a different director</i>” with Duvall. Because of Kubrick’s methodical nature, principal photography took a <i>year</i> to complete. Kubrick and Duvall <i>argued frequently</i>, although Duvall later said she learned more from working with Kubrick on <i>The Shining</i> than she did on all her earlier films. In order to give <i>The Shining</i> the psychological horror it needed, director Stanley Kubrick <i>antagonised his actors.</i> The film’s script was changed so often that Nicholson stopped reading each draft. Kubrick <i><b>intentionally isolated Duvall and argued with her often.</b></i> Duvall was <i><b>forced to perform the iconic and exhausting baseball bat scene 127 times</b></i>. Afterwards, Duvall presented Kubrick with <i><b>clumps of hair that had fallen out due to the extreme stress of filming</b></i>.”</p>
<p>One year of solid filming. She had to cry, panic and be scared for 12 hours a day, seven days a week, nine months straight. She was isolated and antagonised by the director. She had to perform the baseball bat scene 127 times in a row (that’s her crying and screaming, and Jack Nicholson being hit) And to top it all of, Jack and Kubrick get all the attention while she gets ignored?</p>
<p>From my own personal experience of mental illness, being exposed to feelings of fear and distress for prolonged periods of time can cause the brain to learn and expect it. I’m not saying that filming <i>The Shining</i> caused Shelley Duvall to develop mental illness, I am <i><b>stating</b></i> that whether the movie brought out an existing condition, or prepared the bed for something to eventually develop, filming <i>The Shining</i> has a direct correlation with Shelley Duvall suffering from mental illness.</p>
<p>Next time you watch the movie, bare that in mind. It’s much sadder.</p>
<p><i>Side note: Three years prior to filming, her partner of two years, Paul Simon, walked off with her friend <b>Carrie Fisher</b>, after she introduced the two. So there’s that too.</i></p>

<p>Far too many directors love/loved tormenting their lead actresses. Hitchcock, Lars von Trier, David O. Russell, Bertolucci, Abdellatif Kechiche, and many more. What’s especially insulting to Duvall is that not only was she subjected to this treatment, but her performance has been largely unappreciated and even often ridiculed. </p>

<p>Oh yeah during a bird attack scene Hitchcock tied a bunch of fucking live birds onto Tippi Hedren’s clothes while handlers threw more birds at her and he didn’t let her take a break until one of them nearly poked her damn eye out and she outright refused to continue filming the scene and her doctor basically forced Hitchcock to let her take a bed rest. <li>A- Arms: can they raise both their arms up and hold them there?<br/></li>
<li>S- Speech: is their speech slurred? Can they speak a full sentence?<br/></li>
<li>T- Time: if all the signs show a stroke, call 999.<br/></li>
</ul><p>We managed to save my nana with this information when she had her first stroke. </p>

A liberal activist uses an unloaded gun that she kept in her car’s glove-box to back off another woman that is committing vehicular assault against her, her mother and her daughter. Yet because the other person gets to the cops first, Ra is automatically charged with the felony assault.</p>
<p>Now she is yelling ‘racism’ in a city that had black mayors for forty years and a majority black city council for 50 years and presently has a black police chief. Yet she was charged and convicted under the laws these very liberal black people set into place and the lack of any mention of the jury make-up (and considering Detroit’s racial demographics of over 70% black) I seriously doubt the jury was loaded up with white people.</p>
<p>But she condemns the NRA for being silent when she stored a gun in her car’s glove-box while a 2 yo played in the car showing a lack of common sense in gun ownership. But, no, it isn’t her poor gun handling/storing, it is the NRA is racist. But then the NRA didn’t defend me either when I defended myself in my own home against a mentally ill sibling who forced their way into my house and beat me with a pipe, and the reason the told me why is because I was not a card-carrying member.</p>

Lets not even mention how you willfully ignored how they are neglecting to provide her INNOCENT, UNBORN CHILD with proper prenatal care, especially since she is a high risk pregnancy. But i guess you really don’t give two shits about that, right? You have no idea who she voted for, but I guess you really never learned the difference between inferring based on your own dumbass biases and actually confirming your findings. <p>She appeared for sentencing at the Isle of Wight Crown Court yesterday where Judge John Price said: “He started having feelings for her. He became very fond of you. Then it became a sexual relationship.”</p>
<p>He added: “I have read his victim impact statement. He says it has caused great upset. He was not able to talk to his parents and found it difficult to get on with people at school.”</p>
<p>Judge Price continued: “He could not legally consent, in practical terms, he did. He was very fond of you. “</p>
<p>However, he spared her a spell behind bars because it would have meant her four children going into foster care.</p>
