So, my friends and I went camping in Nederland, Colorado. We had brought a half keg, 2 grams of wax, 7 grams of weed, a gram if Coke, and a half ounce of booms When we first arrived, we decided that my two friends would be fire squad and tend to every thing that has to do with the fire, and my brother and I were tent squad, and set up the camp. About 3 hours in, we had tanked everything we brought, except for a few grams of weed and some wax we wanted to save for the morning. It was 2 am, and the booms were starting to kick in Our fire was starting to go out, so my brother and I told fire squad to get on their shit, and they were going to have to use our small (but solid) hatchet to cut down a dead tree. They said we should just all go into the forest, and find it together. We agreed, and the four of us wandered into the mountain forest at 2 am. It was pitch black, under the trees at least, and we had been wandering around for 10 or 15 minutes. We all had lights on our smartphones as well as a flashlight we bought, and a mag light. One of my friends just stopped when we were walking in the forest. The booms had fully kicked in, and we were all feeling great. He pointed to a tree he stopped next to, and said we had to chop down that one. He said he knew it was right, and it had to be that one. As one of us starts hacking away at the tree I examine it. It is an aspen tree, about 40 feet tall, and was dead. I noticed, though, that there was a large vertical branch that ran parallel to the tree at the top. It was way to straight of a branch to be natural, so I pointed it out and we all said we would look at it when the tree falls down. The time comes, and the tree hits the ground. We quickly run over to the top of the tree, where the branch was and sticking out of the tree was a 4 ft axe. It was huge, and had clearly been growing with the tree with the way the wood had wrapped around the head. We pulled it out, and it had a date of 1973 on it. I know that doesn't mean that is how long it has been there, but it's the only evidence we had. I still have it somewhere. Story time.
So, my friends and I went camping in Nederland, Colorado. We had brought a half keg, 2 grams of wax, 7 grams of
weed, a gram if Coke, and a half ounce of booms
When we first arrived, we decided that my two friends would be fire squad and tend to every thing that has to do
with the fire, and my brother and I were tent squad, and set up the camp. About 3 hours in, we had tanked
 everything we brought, except
for a few grams of weed and some wax we wanted to save for the morning. It was 2
am, and the booms were starting to kick in
Our fire was starting to go out, so my brother and I told fire squad to get on their shit, and they were going to have
to use our small (but solid) hatchet to cut down a dead tree. They said we should just all go into the forest, and
find it together. We agreed, and the four of us wandered into the mountain forest at 2 am. It was pitch black, under
the trees at least, and we had been wandering around for 10 or 15 minutes. We all had lights on our smartphones as
well as a flashlight we bought, and a mag light.
One of my friends just stopped when we were walking in the forest. The booms had fully kicked in, and we
 were all
feeling great. He pointed to a tree he stopped next to, and said we had to chop down that one. He said he knew it
was right, and it had to be that one. As one of us starts hacking away at the tree
I examine it. It is an aspen tree,
about 40 feet tall, and was dead. I noticed, though, that there was a large vertical branch that ran parallel to the
tree at the top. It was way to straight of a branch to be natural, so I pointed it
out and we all said we would look
at it when the tree falls down.
The time comes, and the tree hits the ground. We quickly run over to the top of the tree, where the branch was
and sticking out of the tree
was a 4 ft axe. It was huge, and had clearly been growing with the tree
 with the
 way
the wood had wrapped around the head. We pulled it out, and it had a date of 1973 on it. I know that doesn't mean
that is how long it has been there, but it's the only evidence we had. I still have it somewhere.
