Tajima was born on Aug 4, 1900. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Brown reportedly spent most of her life cutting sugar cane in western Jamaica. She had six children. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € In an interview with the Associated Press, Brown credited her life span to her Christian faith. Although, she was surprised, she told reporters that she was grateful to have lived so long. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € "This is what God has given me, so I have to take it," she said.
