Beautiful, Being Rich, and Drunk: i applaud people who have been through hell but are still kind & loving towards other humans. i hope the universe rewards you with happiness Here is to the unsung heroes. Removed from the celebrities and popular cultures of our current society, are the not so celebrated individuals and the brilliant cultures that make the world a better place to live. Nowadays it is not cool to be on time, to care, to have less money, to go out on a limb for others, or to deliver random acts of kindness. It ain't "gangster" if you praise people for being amazing humanitarians that make life worth living, or when your turntup but you aren't drunk. If you study hard and are able to hold a decent conversation you are a geek. You're probably not going to get a Nobel peace prize for volunteering in an African village, administering food and care to orphans, or for marching on government shouting "stop bombing killing citizens!" As we all know the people who move 30,000 troops into Afghanistan are destined for such awards. Selflessness is a route that few people take, often for a short amount of time. But some do for the whole of their lives. When they do it is quite beautiful, here is to the unsung heroes in the world. The nurses, volunteers, philanthropists, recyclers, carers, helpers, donators, lovers and the fighters who aren't scared to stand up for who and what they believe in. The doctors, the spiritual leaders of self love, the well wishers and do gooders, the energy givers, those who don't give to receive but just to give. Those who prioritise the needs of others over their own wants. Those who dedicate their time, and those who dedicate their lives, to helping others and the world. Those who do things for free for people, just because they love people. Even if you will never be hailed a celebrity, never be rich, never have a jay z song dedicated to you. You are cool in my eyes, respect and you have the support of real people, which is better than the following of a materialistic society. You are some of the reasons I smile :) chakabars

Apparently, Comfortable, and Community: I feel a like a lot of people think I'm always this happy and funny guy all the time. Truthfully, I'm actually not. There's broken parts in my life that I have never opened up about. I have many struggles, problems, insecurities and questions that linger around and cut away at me everyday. Maybe one day I'll speak about it or maybe I never will at all. Although right now I don't feel comfortable being the mouthpiece for my battles, I also don't want people to misperceive my narrative. The internet makes it ever so easy for me to paint whatever picture I want and show a heightened version of me. It's then even more easy to take that portrayal and form an erroneous judgement... of me. At the risk of entering self-praise; I have a fair few folks who look up to me, they like me and show nothing but love to me. For that; I'm incredibly flattered and I genuinely am so overwhelmed. On that note, I do feel the need to say this - A lot of people look at stars, public figures, celebrities and feel this enormous pressure to have life fully figured out, to be super successful and to exceed all expectations. Furthermore, if you're not either of those things, it's like you can't even admit you're having a problem, because apparently that's not cool, that's not macho and that's not sexy. As someone who somewhat fits into this "public figure" category and as a human being who deeply cares for his community, I'd just to like to say; IGNORE these pressures and expectations that bleed out of society, your parents, your friends or your peers. EVERYONE's journey is different, EVERYONE's variables are different. You shouldn't compare your success (or the lack of) to someone else's. It doesn't matter if they're a global superstar or they're your annoying cousin. Comparing is poison. Everyone fights a battle you know nothing about, no matter how grand the narrative looks from the outside. Respect your journey and all the perks and pitfalls that come with it. Your time will come. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Bad, Books, and Children: HoPE SO You've CHANGED Some people never grow, evolve or better themselves. I no longer chill with people like this. In life, I can only speak from the perspective of my experiences. As I grow older and wiser I have been learning more about the world, this affects my opinions and decisions day to day. Once you make an observation, you have an obligation to make decisions, based on the new information. Yet some people will still behave in the same negative manner, as they did all those years ago. Some of the reasons that people don't evolve: They don't read books! They are tying to copy celebrities. They can't stop smoking, drinking, taking drugs and eating bad foods. They revel in their ignorance. They don't question anything. They aren't humble enough to learn from somebody else with more experience. They believe everything the media tells them. They are in a spiritual battle and don't want to objectively analyse themselves. Some of the reasons people evolve: They experience some sort of life changing traumatic event. They read and study. They start to love themselves without negative judgement. They learn to believe in themselves. They get a mentor, someone with more experience than them and they learn from them. They have children and want to give their children a childhood, that they don't have to spend the rest of their lives recovering from. Somebody close to them passes away and this humbles them, making them change their behavioural habits. There are many more reasons why people grow and why people stay the same. But remember, the wiser person knows that they will always have much to learn. I have no time for forced conversion, people who refuse to grow and unnecessary relationships. I don't feel sorry for this in any way, shape or form. chakabars
