Animals, Bodies , and Children: UnErase Poetry @standup911 The first boy who held my hand... I believe that animals, children and woman are the most oppressed beings on the planet. Within the last 24 hours including this series I have covered all three. In many parts of the world children are forced into arrange marriages, forced into religion and political ideology and heavily programmed. Animals are ruthlessly killed for humans taste buds, sense of fashion and for sportsmanship. Woman are 2nd class citizens in nearly every country. Men make up laws that govern their bodies, the entire entertainment industry objectifies them, in many countries they are sentenced to jail for being a victim of rape and woman hide their natural beauty behind a laundry list of chemicals and animal byproducts to fit into society standards. Most importantly men constantly view women as sex objects and in many cases judge how much they "love" her by what they label as her sexual attributes and skills. Just like the video mentions this is a generalization and there are good men - humans that this may not obtain to but realistically speaking 90% of my following falls into these categories as I have seen it over and over again through the comments and likes on my posts, what others are liking and the understanding that we all have a lot to grow as a collective community. Hopefully you do not find offense or nit pick what has been said here and understand the underlying message both in the video and in my caption. bethechange standup911 indiasdaughter fuckthesystem - mic ๐ŸŽค - @aranyajohar

Being Alone, Cheating, and Community: If you see a woman that has everything going for herself and you're not ready to add value to her life... just admire her from afar Please don't interrupt her greatness. chakabars Brothers I know your insecurities, I used to share them, I still do share some of them. I know that you not being able to provide for your family is one of them, that's why you hit the block... It's not your block though, a bank owns it. That bank takes money out of your community, it doesn't want to build it up for you. But let's talk about your relationships with women. Are they mutually beneficial, or are you just as sexist as the next man? Do you build her up or do you tear her down? Are you creating or are you destroying. Are you scared you will lose her, because you haven't stepped your game up like you promised? Do her a favour, please don't try to get her pregnant, so your child can keep her because you couldn't. Do you expect her to be a brilliant lover in bed, but have never slept with someone before you? Are you telling her what to wear, what not to wear... where to be and who to talk to? Don't project your insecurities on to her because you are cheating, but won't admit that you sleep with other women, because you are scared of what she might say. Be a man, stick up for her, be a role model to her as she is for you. Be the type of man you would want your daughter to be with. She receives enough oppression from other men and sexist systems. Don't be another oppressor, uplift her, fight for her, build with her if you are ready to, but if you aren't leave her alone and watch her grow from a distance, don't mess up her life because you aren't happy with yours. You shouldn't be a distraction, appreciate her and bless her, be her solution not her problem... chakabars

America, Black History Month, and Books: Black Marvel Girl Following @Black MarvelGirl Let's celebrate Daisy Bates who walked black kids to white schools every day. History books never mention her name #Black History Month ETS LIKES 444 432 Repost from @blaxcellence_ Daisy Bates was born in Arkansas in 1914 and as a child she was outraged by racial discrimination. She didn't take it for granted. Later she discovered that her mother was killed by white rapists who were not judged for their crime. In 1940's Bates and her husband began to publish Arkansas State Press, the paper that advocated rights of black people. In 1952 Bates became the President of The NAACP in Arkansas. In 1957 nine Little Rock black kids were going to enter all-white school to get better education. 9 children were met with National Guards! Just imagine it โ€” National Guards were set to resist 9 school kids. Daisy Bates tried to step in but she was arrested. Nevertheless Daisy's effort was mentioned by the White House and POTUS Dwight Eisenhower took care of desegregation of schools. After this incident Bates continued to work for black community helping people to live a better life. Thanks Daisy! She's a real role model who started civil rights activism when MLK was just a kid. blackexcellence blackperfection blackbeauty blackbusiness africanamerican blackcommunity melanin blackpride blackout america usa blackscience education diversity civilrights daisybates
