Deborah: Love What Matters on Sunday Meet Cami, who has autism. In the photo, she's wearing her all time favorite shirt. Therein lies the problem, she's in love with this shirt and it's too worn to continue wearing. Here's what her mother, Deborah wrote Okay friends and family, I need your help! As most of you know, my daughter Cami has autism. For the past 4-5 years, she has been fixated on THIS shirt. She got her first one in kindergarten 5 years ago, and we have found 4 more since then, mostly on eBay. Her current one is almost unwearable, and eBay has gone dry. This shirt is a CIRCO brand from TARGET. They were sold in 2011-2012. This is where you come in. We need another "pink flower shirt", so will you please share this post or even just the photo? We will pay for the shirt and the shipping if someone would be kind enough to sell it to us. It has to be this exact shirt! Weve tried similar shirts, and they don't cut it with Cami! Thank you so much!! (any size is great!)" Let's all help Deborah and Cami by sharing this on #LoveWhat Matters Credit: Deborah Grimshaw Skouson serenefreakgeek: faithinhumanityr: micdotcom: Mom needed a specific shirt for her autistic daughter — and the internet delivered 10-year-old Cami Skouson has had a favorite shirt for five years. But as her mom Deborah wrote on Facebook, they’ve gone through 5 of them and it’s now become increasingly harder to find it. After her plea for help went viral, kind citizens of the internet began sending her the shirt — a lot of them. Skouson’s post was reposted to the page Love What Matters, where it quickly garnered more than 13,000 shares. The internet responded to Skouson’s request in full, ultimately sending the family more than 150 “flower shirts.” “At first, my daughter was a little confused to see more than one of her ‘pink flower shirts,’” she told the Daily Dot. “I explained to her that people gave them to her because they loved her.” If that isn’t a happy enough ending for you, Skouson said she also heard from Target, who offered to send her a larger version of the shirt so Cami could wear it as she grew older. “I accepted their offer with tears streaming down my face,” Skouson said. “The kindness being shown my little girl has been so beautiful.”   Literally reading this brought tears to my eyes

Deborah: Eminem's childhood bully D'Angelo Bailey sued Eminem for $1 million. The judge wrote a rap to deliver the verdict. Ultrafacts.tumblr.com ultrafacts: The name of the judge was Deborah Servitto, and this is the actual court ruling. Mr. Bailey complains that his rep is trash So he’s seeking compensation in the form of cash. Bailey thinks he’s entitled to some monetary gain Because Eminem used his name in vain. Eminem says Bailey used to throw him around Beat him up in the john, shoved his face in the ground. Eminem contends that his rap is protected By the rights guaranteed by the First Amendment. Eminem maintains that the story is true And that Bailey beat him black and blue. In the alternative he states that the story is phony And a reasonable person would think it’s baloney. The court must always balance the rights Of a defendant and one placed in a false light. If the plaintiff presents no question of fact To dismiss is the only acceptable act. If the language used is anything but pleasin’ It must be highly objectionable to a person of reason. Even if objectionable and causing offense Self-help is the first line of defense. Yet when Bailey actually spoke to the press What do you think he didn’t address? Those false-light charges that so disturbed Prompted from Bailey not a single word. So highly objectionable, it could not be Bailey was happy to hear his name on a CD. Bailey also admitted he was a bully in youth Which makes what Marshall said substantial truth. This doctrine is a defense well known And renders Bailey’s case substantially blown. The lyrics are stories no one would take as fact They’re an exaggeration of a childish act. Any reasonable person could clearly see That the lyrics could only be hyperbole. It is therefore this court’s ultimate position That Eminem is entitled to summary disposition. Deborah: BETTER ENJOY THIS NOW.. BEFORE SOMEONE COMES AND POLLUTES IT, WASTES IT, LIMITS ACCESS TO IT, SELLS IT FOR $2 A BOTTLE, THEN CALLS IT justbeingnamaste: PROGRESS !Nestlé Chairman Peter Brabeck Says We Don’t Have a Right to Water, http://democracynow.org - As Flint residents are forced to drink, cook with and even bathe in bottled water, while still paying some of the highest water bills in the county for their poisoned water, we turn to a little-known story about the bottled water industry in Michigan. In 2001 and 2002, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality issued permits to Nestlé, the largest water bottling company in the world, to pump up to 400 gallons of water per minute from aquifers that feed Lake Michigan. This sparked a decade-long legal battle between Nestlé and the residents of Mecosta County, Michigan, where Nestlé’s wells are located. One of the most surprising things about this story is that, in Mecosta County, Nestlé is not required to pay anything to extract the water, besides a small permitting fee to the state and the cost of leases to a private landowner. In fact, the company received $13 million in tax breaks from the state to locate the plant in Michigan. The spokesperson for Nestlé in Michigan is Deborah Muchmore. She’s the wife of Dennis Muchmore—Governor Rick Snyder’s chief of staff, who just retired and registered to be a lobbyist. We speak with Peggy Case, Terry Swier and Glenna Maneke of Michigan Citizens for Water Conservation.
