Advice, Ass, and Bless Up: TAKE ALL MY MONEY @Dr Smashlove Dog Kisses Dog K ISSES In order to succeed, we need to benchmark. In order to benchmark, we need to measure. Our bodies - and our minds - incline toward complacency. Start a new workout. What happens? You do it five or six times and low and behold, it gets easy. Your muscles get used to it. You get into a rhythm. Your body cheats. Before you know it, the benefits you derived from this workout disappear. Your gains are over. My advice: surprise yourself. Confuse your body. And above all, measure. If you do 45 min on the elliptical at a 6 incline on level 10, kick it up to 11 next time you work out. Then 12 the next time. Bring towels. Bring propel. You feel me? Have something to occupy your time. Push yourself. Punish yourself. In work, in life, in most experiences, there are few rewards greater than the reward of knowing you kicked your own ass and increased. Improved. Captured a new goal. You feel me? At a set, appointed time, the gig will be up. We could lose our health. Our mental faculties. Even our life. You don't know when that will be. But you do know that until then, you can do great things and then wake up and do greater things. Push yourself but also rest and reward yourself. You feel me? Fuck up that stack of chocolate chip pancakes. When you used to do that, you hated yourself. But after pushing yourself, now you feel like you deserve the reward. And you do! Be humble and be thankful. And then DM me and say "smash, I took your advice and made it over a hump and now I look and feel amazing. I wanna have your chirren 😍". Just kidding about the last part! (Or not 👶. Bless up! 😂😂😂)
