Bad, Energy, and Family: KEEPAPOSITIVE MINDSET Did you know you can learn to train your brain to help stay positive when times are tough? - Try these tips: ✔️Daily gratitude. When you wake up each morning, make it a habit to write down at least three things you’re grateful for. It can be anything from family and work to a good nights rest or the morning sunrise. When attention is focused on gratitude, that which we’re grateful for will expand. ✔️Stay centered. Staying centered throughout the day will help keep you from being derailed by negative energy that tries to consume your confident, positive attitude. You can find balance in many activities such as a bad*ss workout session, yoga, meditation, deep breathing, walking in nature or any other activity that puts your mind at rest. ✔️Eat, drink well and sleep well. It has been known for hundreds of years that our intake of food, water, and sleep can greatly affect our mood and mental health. (Yes, I wasn’t referring to getting f*ed up when I said “drink well”) ✔️Help others. Sometimes, the best way to help yourself stay positive throughout the day is to help others stay positive as well. When others are down, that’s when they need positivity the most. Instead of avoiding their negative energy in fear of it spreading to you, jump in head first with your positive mindset and help shine the light to brighten their day! You will leave the situation knowing that you have created a ripple effect and multiplied the positive energy in your environment, and this energy will return to you ten fold! - What do you guys think? Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Talks ‘Black Panther’ with Ryan Coogler: “If You're Black, You'll Leave With a Straighter Walk, a Gratitude For Your African Heritage, and a Superhero Whom Black Children Can Relate To” - blogged by: @ashleytearra ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ‘Black Panther’ isn’t just another film; it’s a moment of cultural celebration and appreciation, especially for the mainstream representation of blacks in Hollywood. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here you have a traditional superhero film spearheaded by a predominantly black cast and Mr. RyanCoogler, a black man who not only directed, but also co-wrote it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That alone speaks volumes, particularly in today’s pop culture climate. It’s innovating, refreshing, revolutionary, and even groundbreaking. This is a milestone for the culture. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The film—based on Marvel Comics’ fictional character of the same name, debuted on February 16th, breaking worldwide box office records and setting the table for national dialogue. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One day before its release, Coogler sat down with retired NBA player KareemAbdulJabbar to share his views on why ‘Black Panther’ is such a big deal and why it could be beneficial for all races. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “The concept of an African story, with actors of African descent at the forefront—combined with the scale of modern franchise filmmaking, is something that hasn’t really been seen before,” Coogler told Abdul-Jabbar. “You feel like you’re getting the opportunity of seeing something fresh, being a part of something new—which I think all audiences want to experience, regardless of whether they are African descent or not.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Later in the Hollywood Reporter piece, Coogler detailed what he strives for viewers to gain from watching ‘Black Panther’. “I hope they take out of it a sense of enjoyment [but also] something that is not disposable,” he ......to read the rest log on to BallerAlert.com (clickable link on profile)

Children, College, and Energy: LICNAIRE WENTOR CHEERS TO ABETTER FUTURE. Start small and strive for a better F*CKING life! 🍾 - Living a life of excellence takes effort, but at the same time is rewarding and gives you energy so that you can keep up your work. Here are a few ideas that you can implement to strive for excellence👇 - ✔️Feel your emotions. Stop muffling your emotions underneath a big blanket and putting your fake-happy-neutral face all the time. Learn from children, who are sad, happy, excited and tired over the course of less than an hour. Feel what truly goes on within yourself, and simply accept it. ✔️Identify your values. To make the right choices in your life, you need to know what truly matters to you. Keep a list of your core values, and write your observations on how you and others live according to these values as well. Revisit your list often to focus your energy on what you value most in life. ✔️Define your limiting beliefs. What is holding you back? What cultural conditioning is keeping you from stepping out from the crowd? Do you think you can’t do it because you’re too old-young, because you haven’t gone to college or because you are a woman? Define your limiting beliefs, and then release them into the wide open. 😉 ✔️Practice gratitude. Learn to be grateful for all positive experiences that come across your path on a given day. Keep a list of 10 things that you are grateful for, every day. When dark days are upon you, be grateful for your health, for life, for your pet… anything that can give you a little spark! ✔️Smile. Light up your face and the heart of another person with a smile. - life cheers success millionairementor

Goals, Life, and Love: AY FOCUSED ON YOUR OWN GOALS. The year 2018 is here, and if you’re a goal-setter, you’ve probably already set your New Year’s resolutions (or have at least thought about them.) - Here are a few steps toward achieving our goals for 2018!: ✔️Get clear on what you want. The first step in achieving our New Year’s goals is to become crystal clear on precisely what we want. Close your eyes for a moment, and visualize the life you desire: Who and what are in this image? How do you look in this new picture? More important, how do you feel when you see this life in front of you? What do you ultimately want to feel? With your eyes closed, experience that feeling. ✔️Love yourself! Reaching our goals doesn’t happen by beating ourselves up, or judging and criticizing ourselves. Transformation comes from the love, compassion, kindness and patience we offer ourselves. Just like a child doesn’t thrive or learn from hostility, neither do we. We learn and grow from patience and support. So, be kind and gentle with yourself as you progress toward your goals. When you slip up, tell yourself, “I’ll do better tomorrow.” We don’t have to be perfect to start loving ourselves; we deserve love just as we are now. ✔️Self-Awareness. If we are unaware of our thoughts, feelings, belief systems, likes, dislikes and fears, then we are missing a key element to initiating change in our lives. When we spend time noticing the internal dialogue we’re having with ourselves, we can learn critical behaviors that are preventing and sabotaging our growth and success. ✔️Gratitude. Gratitude is the gateway to peace and happiness. It is the starting point to creating change. A grateful heart feels love and joy, which draws more love and joy into our lives. A simple gratitude practice of writing 5 to 10 things daily that you’re grateful for can begin to shift your mindset and actually make you feel better too. ✔️Set realistic and achievable goals, and take actionable steps. In setting goals and intentions, dream BIG, but realistically. Don’t set insurmountable goals to accomplish within a year if you doubt you can reach them. - I hope this really helps and you achieve everything you want! - 2018 success goals millionairementor
