Africa, Crazy, and Donald Trump: Trump Tells Pregnant Widow Of Fallen Soldier "He Knew What He Signed Up For" @balleraler 臣111 2 Trump Tells Pregnant Widow Of Fallen Soldier “He Knew What He Signed Up For” - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On Tuesday, Sgt. La David T. Johnson of Miami Gardens, the American soldier who was killed in Niger, was saluted in his homecoming at Miami International Airport. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With his casket draped with the American flag and the name of his wife engraved on his chest, the fallen soldier was met with silence and subsequent honor from local politicians and officials. Before being transported to the Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood, his pregnant widow, Myeshia Johnson, leaned over the casket and sobbed at the loss of her husband. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Prior the ceremonial homecoming, Donald Trump called Johnson’s pregnant widow to give his condolences. Just days after sparking controversy over his comments falsely claiming Barack Obama and “other presidents” didn’t call the families of fallen soldiers, Trump told Johnson’s widow,” he knew what he signed up for … but when it happens it hurts anyway.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, who was with Myeshia at the time, heard the exchange and was disgusted by Trump’s words. “I think it’s so insensitive. It’s crazy. Why do you need to say that?’’ Wilson asked. “You don’t say that to someone who lost family, the father, the breadwinner. You can say, ‘I’m so sorry for your loss. He’s a hero.’” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I’m livid. He can’t even have an open-coffin funeral because his body is so messed up,” she added. According to reports, Johnson was part of a joint mission with the Niger military in west Africa, when he was killed in an ambush on Oct. 4.

Bad, Bad Boys, and Dating: Let's Talk: How Old Is Too Old To Be Dating a Drug Dealer or Gangster? @balleralert Let's Talk: How Old Is Too Old To Be Dating a Drug Dealer or Gangster? - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As women, we all go through stages in our lives where we date different “types” of men, from the bad boys to momma’s boys to broke boys and gangsters. But there comes a time where you have to give up a certain type of lifestyle to progress in the real world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As a teen, dealing with a bad boy-drug dealer is fun and adventurous. Your man has money to blow; you’re able to live lavishly, flaunting designer bags and shoes, while your other teenaged friends work for their money. However, living life on the edge, without a care in the world is only fun while it lasts. As you get older, you realize that there is so much more to live for, and the dangers of dealing with a drug dealer or gangster isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. What happens when you get caught in the crossfire of a dispute over an exchange? What happens when you get shot in retaliation over territory or just to send a message? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As women, we must be more aware of the red flags in a relationship. Dating drug dealers and gangsters should never be acceptable, because when they assume the risks, you become collateral damage. As women, we should set a higher standard on the type of men we date, because we deserve that much. A man should want to be better for you, rather than drag you into his illegitimate lifestyle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For instance, Falicia Blakely. She let her boyfriend convince her to start "hitting licks," now she is sitting in jail and her son is without a mother. Alice Jones was sentenced to 24 years in jail for a drug conspiracy because of a man she was involved with. There have been stories about young women who have had bright futures, and lost it all or their lives, because of the man they chose to deal with. When you reach a certain point in your life, you have to think your age. The drug dealer lifestyle is not only dangerous but you don’t want to live your life with regrets. Life is too short and I’m sure you want more from your life. Think and make sure you are living responsibly!

Fall, Future, and Lawyer: Harvey Weinstein Says Oprah Called To Support Him, Oprah's Team Says That's Not True, She Only Wanted An Interview @balleralert Harvey Weinstein Says Oprah Called To Support Him, Oprah’s Team Says That’s Not True, She Only Wanted An Interview – blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s been more than a week since The New York Times exposed super producer HarveyWeinstein. Since then, he has lost his job and his wife over the explosive sexual assault allegations against him. However, he says one person has shown him support in this troubling time, Oprah Winfrey. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to TMZ, the producer said Winfrey called him earlier this week to say she was ready to support him publically. Sources say Weinstein told his team that the superstar TV host advised him to speak out and defend himself and said that once he did, she would be his support. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, a spokesperson for Winfrey says that is simply not true. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Oprah has not spoken to Harvey Weinstein directly. Someone from his team reached out to her to see if she would talk to him, and she said she would if it was for an interview. There are no plans for an interview at this time,” the rep said, adding that the host was interested in a “60 minute” interview with the producer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But, the spokesperson made it clear that Oprah only wanted the truth from Weinstein, if he agreed to sit down with her. “I’ve been processing the accounts of Harvey Weinstein’s behavior and haven’t been able to find the words to articulate the magnitude of the situation,” Winfrey said on Thursday. “This is the story of one predator and his many victims; but it is also about an overwhelming systemic enabling, and until that story is fully told we will fall far short of stopping future depredations on a similar scale,” she added, quoting James Schamus. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the meantime, TMZ reports that Weinstein will challenge his firing by The Weinstein Company on Oct 17 at the board meeting. Although the producer is at a live-in rehab facility at this time, he will be present by phone and his lawyer will be at the meeting to present his case.
