Energy, Memes, and Formation: A group of astrophysicists at the University of Zurich in Switzerland announced on 18 May 2017 that they have created the largest virtual universe ever simulated as part of their research into the “dark side of the Universe,” and their simulation is a bit bigger than your average video game world. Using the Piz Daint supercomputer at the Swiss National Computing Center, the researchers generated a virtual universe of 25 billion virtual galaxies, composed of 2 trillion digital macro-particles that represent the “dark matter fluid” that composes roughly 23 percent of the cosmos. Their research plays an integral role in the European Space Agency’s Euclid space mission, in which the Euclid satellite will be sent to space in 2020 for a six-year data collecting mission to investigate dark matter and dark energy. Euclid will measure the redshift of galaxies and the acceleration of the universe to better understand the expansion of the universe, the formation of cosmic structures, and the nature of this fascinating dark energy. In this image, we see a sliver of the virtual universe nearly a billion light-years across. Best Friend, Life, and Love: I want love that will say: "not even death will do us part because we'll be reunited in jannah" IN SHA ALLAFH A Real Story (When dream comes true) . I would like to narrate how I got married, since I’ve been getting lot of questions regarding this matter, and I hope it would clear the misconceptions that many have regarding marriages that take place in Shaam. . After two months in Shaam, I finally think about getting married because life without a Mahram is quite hard and it can cause fitnah. When I told this matter to one of my best friend, she was the happiest person because I was never interested before. . She spoke this matter to her husband. The husband told her that one of his friend is looking for a wife, and described about him to my friend. So, my friend told me about his personality and her husband told him (my husband) about mine. Initially I had a little doubt, till my friend said something that really made my heart ease and peace. . "Shams, you always tell me about your father and how much you love him. Don’t you think, this man sounds exactly like your father?" . That night, I was unable to sleep. I looked at my father’s picture and asking myself am I really ready for this. I made salatul Istikharah and put my full trust in Allāh. . For the next few days, I feel very much ease about this matter. So I spoke to my father, and he said he’s happy as long I’m. . One night, my best friend knocked my door and before I could answer her, she opened the door and jumped on me. She told me that her husband has spoken to his friend, and his friend is interested in marrying me even without looking at me. I was astonished, and I told her that, I too agreed for the marriage. She hugged me and cried and kept saying how much she’s happy with my decision. Wallahi, I felt she acted like my mother and it was an emotional night. . The next morning I was very much shocked because my friend told me that her husband and his friend will come to our house to see me. This is a sunnah practice, called ‘Nadra-Shar’eeah’ which means, to see the bride’s face before the marriage. When she told me about this matter, I was nearly fainted. I couldn’t believe it could be this soon, and I wasn’t ready at all. She comforted me and told me everything will be alright. 👇

Black Lives Matter, cnn.com, and Future: These South Bronx fourth grade boys are talking about race and Black Lives Matter through theater Art stays imitating life! Success Academy Bronx 2 teacher Sentell Harper has created the spoken-word production entitled Alternative Names for Black Boys featuring boys in his fourth grade class as performers, CNN reports. During the production, six black boys wearing gray hoodies line up and ask the poignant question, “Do you see me?” and repeat it several times. With hoods on their heads, they recite the names of black youth and men killed in police brutality incidents, “Freddie … Michael … Philando … Tamir,” they say. “Eric … Alton … Trayvon … Jordan.” “I got my group of boys together, and I said, ‘Today we’re gonna talk about race,'” Harper said.“And they had so much to say. They started telling me stories about their fathers and their brothers, and about dealing with racism — things that I never knew that these young boys went through.” Harper, who is a black actor and playwright, was inspired by the Danez Smith poem “Alternative Names for Black Boys," and created the five-part performance of the same name. Besides the recitation of names, Harper's production includes Tupac Shakur’s famous poem, “Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete?,” snippets from Langston Hughes’ “Popular Tree” and a monologue addressing future issues of young black boys. “With the killings of black men and boys being in the media, it was really just scary in my world,” Harper said. “I thought about the boys I was teaching … society won’t see them like I see them. Society will only see them as black men.” The production has clearly had a significant impact on the young boys, who unfortunately have to navigate a world where the police see them as a target. “When I do this piece, I’m, like, proving everybody wrong, that I could get an education, and I could go somewhere in my life,” performer Tysean Wheeler said. “We want to prove people wrong about what black men and boys can do, because we might be the future men [that] would [or] could get shot or killed,” another performer Gregory Hannah, added. Harper did initially worry about the subject being too heavy for such young boys, but has experienced an “amazing” response, notably from the performers’

Bad, Children, and Family: Our Family My Response to a cry for help... My friend, I saw your post.....I can only hope that you see mine. I can't begin to understand or would I dare claim to understand what is going on in your life or in your mind at this current moment. However, I can and will say this.... Sometimes life beats us and it's OK to lose. However, it's never ok to quit or stop fighting! It's ok to not know all the answers to what troubles or pains us.....but it's never ok to stop pushing forward. Sometimes our views and decision making can be skewed and we need to look to the council of others to help us make the right decisions in our life. Trust me when I say.....life is worth living. I have my demons....I understand what they say and what they try to make us believe. I too have had my moments where I thought life was simply not worth it. I even began to believe that people would be better off if I was simply not here. What I've come to learn is this....I'm thankful that I am still here! No matter how bad my past or others may be....I'm happy and thankful to be here today and others I've met along the way that struggle or have struggled unanimously say the same. We are thankful that we are here! Trust me, You have people in your life that if they truly matter to you....then you will do what's right by them and fight to stay. Fight my friend Fight for the ones that matter and never give up..... YOUR LIFE has VALUE and that VALUE is in the lives of the people you hold closest to you. BROTHERS, SISTERS, WIVES, HUSBANDS, CHILDREN ETC.... Whenever we struggle to find answers and struggle to find purpose....look no further than those that we hold most dear and understand no one is "better off" without us. Fight my friend Life is worth it -Graham🇺🇸 *Due to this particular response and with YOUR help this particular person has been verified to be safe with their family, BUT this message goes out to anyone and everyone who is hurting.
