Dogs, Food, and Friday: German shepherd pictured carrying his own bag of dog food the morning after Hurricane Harvev is hailed a hero By Ann Schmidt For Dailymail.com Updated at 1:25 PM on 27 August 2017 80 8 Repost @denise13dd ・・・ A dog that got loose during HurricaneHarvey has become a hero after a picture of him carrying a bag of dog food went viral. German shepherd mix Otis, from Stinton, Texas, got loose during the hurricane on Friday night. Salvador Segovia, 65, was watching Otis, his five-year-old grandson Carter's dog. Carter had fled the city because of the flooding.Segovia realized Otis was gone Friday night and even though he tried calling his name, Otis didn't return, Chron.com reported. On Saturday morning, Segovia noticed a bag of Otis' dog food was gone from his porch, so Segovia drove around the neighborhood to look for the missing dog. Meanwhile, neighbor Tiele Dockens saw Otis carrying his bag of food and took a picture, which has since gone viral. She captioned the picture: 'This dog is walking around Sinton TX carrying a entire bag of dog food with him. LOL refugee'. The snap has since had 21,700 shares, 2,000 comments and 8,500 reactions by Saturday night.Added to the end of her caption, Dockens wrote:'PSA: Owner is found. He is not a stray he just got out on his street. Dogs name is Otis' (sic). Thankfully, Segovia was able to find Otis and bring him home before Carter returned. According to the grandfather, Otis has helped comfort five-year-old Carter, who has had numerous hospital visits for seizures and asthma. He is also well-known in town. 'Otis can go to Dairy Queen and he can get a hamburger,' Segovia told Chron.com. 'He's the only dog allowed to lie down in front of the county court house. He also goes to H.E.B. He's not a stray. He's a good dog.' hurricaneharvey prayfortexas disaster smartdog hurricane flooding πŸ˜žπŸ™πŸΌ

A Dream, Bad, and Blade: she took the midnight train going anywhere NEW YORKERS KEEP NEW YORK SAFE I just had a dream that could totally be the plot of the next big horror movie...it was this little boy and his father living in my old house and the boy had no idea who his mother was but as he started to get older this black figure-mass started appearing to him telling him it was his mother and it would plant bad ideas in his mind and the boy and his father were part of some religion that seemed kind of like a cult and one day after the black mass visited the boy while he was in his garage a glowing woman appeared to him and she was like the goddess of whatever religion they were part of and she was telling him that she could see the inside of his mind and could see the terrible thoughts he was having and she was extremely disappointed in him and that as the goddess of the religion, she was his mother and he didn't need to worry about that question (but the goddess wasn't aware of the black mass appearing to him) but the goddess disappeared when the boy's father quietly entered the garage (the boy was hiding and was unaware) and he was being followed by his neighbor who was also part of the religion and they were arguing and eventually started fighting and the father ended up the the ground and another angry neighbor showed up and started puncturing the fathers thigh repeatedly with this semicircular stamp blade and the boy knew something was going on so he came out of hiding and the neighbors ran away and he saw his father on the ground and bleeding ad got scared and angry and started to (unintentionally or not, I am unsure) summon the black figure who claimed to be his mother who, if unleashed, would most definitely wreak havoc everywhere...then I woke up
