Being Alone, Anaconda, and Animals: ugly fuckthekxng gokishi man you know what I want? a superhero series where they have powers that 100% contradict their personalities. a fishermans daughter who lives by the sea, swims every day, learns that she can control fire. a boy whos mortified of heights but realizes he can use antigravity and hates it. someone who was bitten by a dog as a child, suffers extreme fear around animals, can now communicate with them. they're all disgusted by their powers. uss-assbutt yes good but what about the character development as they learn to cope with their powers and overcome their fears the pyrokinetic swimmer wading out into the ocean armed with waterproof matches to practice so nothing goes wrong, building her confidence with the sea as her safety net, being so proud when she figures out how to heat the air just enough that she dries off instantly after swimming the boy slowly overcoming his fear of heights, realizing that he can catch himself if he ever falls, standing swaying on top of playground sets and closing his eyes as he tries to safely hover down (and not fall on his face again) the girl's terror lessening as the previously terrifying cacophony of the dogs at the park turns into a chorus of ba ball! throw me the ball!" What I drew resonated with people my age and I think that’s nice (the stories I came up with resonated as well, like how I imagined Chucky overcoming anxiety and depression through the art of slam poetry, but i guess to you that gets categorized as “self-confident hipsters” and I guess being self confident is bad??). What you worked on resonated with people, as evidenced by all the fan art and fond re-imaginings. I guess, though, that pisses you off? This rant operates as though we’ve all been hired by a studio to design and animate a new Rugrats show but you need to step back and see that this whole thing boils down to you being mad that young people on the internet had fun appreciating something you worked on decades ago. How terrible.</p> <p>Do you need to be coddled right now? Do I need to remind you there are seasons and seasons of the show you worked on? Funded by major animation studios? And movies? And spin off series? With tons of merchandise? And my drawings are like, “let’s spend a few minutes looking at what the Rugrats characters might look like if they were young people out walking in the streets.” Does that make you feel better? </p> <p>So throwing a temper tantrum and publicly blasting fans of a cartoon you worked on is your mode of operation. Okay. If it interests you to know how others respond I’m happy to share that Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons, is the one who saw my little grown up drawings and liked them enough to show them to Craig Bartlett, the creator of Hey Arnold. He sent me a really nice message saying he loved the drawings and was so pleased to see young fans grow up to carry on the love for the characters in their own way. I mean, you do you, but maybe consider protecting the legacy of your work by not bitterly picking on young people who do things for fun online. </p> </blockquote> <p>Imagine getting this pissy because someone experimented with art style. What I drew resonated with people my age and I think that’s nice (the stories I came up with resonated as well, like how I imagined Chucky overcoming anxiety and depression through the art of slam poetry, but i guess to you that gets categorized as “self-confident hipsters” and I guess being self confident is bad??). What you worked on resonated with people, as evidenced by all the fan art and fond re-imaginings. I guess, though, that pisses you off? This rant operates as though we’ve all been hired by a studio to design and animate a new Rugrats show but you need to step back and see that this whole thing boils down to you being mad that young people on the internet had fun appreciating something you worked on decades ago. How terrible.</p>
<p>Do you need to be coddled right now? Do I need to remind you there are seasons and seasons of the show you worked on? Funded by major animation studios? And movies? And spin off series? With tons of merchandise? And my drawings are like, “let’s spend a few minutes looking at what the Rugrats characters might look like if they were young people out walking in the streets.” Does that make you feel better? </p>
<p>So throwing a temper tantrum and publicly blasting fans of a cartoon you worked on is your mode of operation. Okay. If it interests you to know how others respond I’m happy to share that Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons, is the one who saw my little grown up drawings and liked them enough to show them to Craig Bartlett, the creator of Hey Arnold. He sent me a really nice message saying he loved the drawings and was so pleased to see young fans grow up to carry on the love for the characters in their own way. I mean, you do you, but maybe consider protecting the legacy of your work by not bitterly picking on young people who do things for fun online. </p>

Bad, Fail, and Goals: YOUR LIMITATIONS. F*ck that sh*t The only thing stopping you from reaching your goals and dreams are your limits. It’s when you meet your limits that you feel resistance and things you want seem harder to achieve. Whether it is fear, doubt, physical abilities or some other mental block, it can present a huge barrier to getting what you want. Unfortunately most people can’t work past their limits and give up. So how far you get in reaching your dreams is very dependent on how good you are at overcoming this obstacle. Fail to push past your limits and you’ll leave your dreams unrealized. - But don’t worry, I GOTCHA! Here are a few things you can do to say F*CK YOU to your limits: ✔️Find someone to help push you. ust that little bit of support encouraging you to keep going in the face of resistance can mean so much. Having someone on your side can counter-balance any negative thinking you might have. They can tell you to do more and push you into doing things outside of your comfort zone. ✔️Imagine reaching your next level. Working on your dreams or goals can take a lot of focus. Where you put that focus matters a lot. You might know where you are and where you were, but do you know where you need to go? Imagine that next level for reaching your dreams and take steps to get there. ✔️Inspire yourself to action. Find something that inspires you to reach your goals. Whether it is a video, quote or thought that inspires you to succeed, it should be something that fills you with passion and drive to get things done. Inspiration can be a powerful motivational tool. (One of my memes for example 😉) ✔️Work on your weaknesses. Where there are weaknesses, there are limits. Think about a marathon runner. They won’t be able to train very well for a marathon if they can’t find a good running stride or have bad nutrition. These are big areas of weakness that just makes training harder. Without correction, your weaknesses will limit how far you can take yourself. YOU’RE WELCOME!
