In one of his messages, he wrote that he hates “jews, n****rs, immigrants.” Along with his hateful messages, he supported his bigoted views with racist and offensive memes and videos. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some media outlets portrayed Cruz as a “lone wolf” which is contrary to the fact that he was an active member of, and trained by white supremacist group, Republic of Florida, according to the Anti-Defamation League. ROF is a Florida-based hate group that works with young, white males to promote racism and violent acts like knife fighting and gun violence. The ROF also wants to succeed from the U.S. and establish a white-only state. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Cruz is facing 17 counts of premeditated murder after his terror attack last Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
