Fake, Family, and Life: Justice Is Served: White Man Gets Life Irn Prison Unarmed Black Man In Fake "Neighborhood Watch" Incident For Murdering @balleralert Justice Is Served: White Man Gets Life In Prison For Murdering Unarmed Black Man In Fake “Neighborhood Watch” Incident - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Back in 2016, a North Carolina man, claiming to be part of “neighborhood watch,” called 911 to warn the operators that he was going to kill the “hoodlums” in his neighborhood. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “I’m on neighborhood watch. I am going to have the neighborhood meet these hoodlums out here racing up and down the street,” Chad Copley said to the emergency operator. “It’s 1 in the morning. There’s some devil in them. They have firearms and we’re going to secure our neighborhood. If I was you, I would send PD out here as quickly as possible,” later adding, “I’m going to kill them.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After his conversation with the 911, Copley fired his gun and struck 20-year-old KourenRodneyBernardThomas. He then redialed 911 to explain the incident, claiming one of the boys brandished a gun. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, upon arrival, officials found an unarmed Thomas with a gunshot wound. He was quickly taken to a local hospital, where he was then pronounced dead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Shortly after the incident, Thomas’ friend explained that their actions were innocent and completely opposite of Copley’s claims. In fact, David Walker said he and Thomas tried to get into a party on Copley’s block, but when they couldn’t get immediate access, they decided to leave. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While Walker’s story was slightly different from Copley’s, the end result was the same-Thomas was shot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ During the trial, Copley, who the family attorney named ‘George Zimmerman 2.0’, maintained he fired in self-defense against the group of armed men. However, after a cross-examination, Copley admitted that he saw no gun and that there wasn’t even a neighborhood watch. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As a result, Copley was found guilty on first-degree murder charges and sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Cheating, Crazy, and God: No One's Relationship Is Perfect; We Have All Been Stupid At Least Once @balleralert No One’s Relationship Is Perfect; We Have All Been Stupid At Least Once -blogged by @peachkyss ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Let’s be honest, we have all been in a crazy a$$ relationship where we have done some of the dumbest sh!t ever. Whether we snooped in their phone because we know for a fact they’re cheating, drove by his house to make sure he’s home like he said he was, or confronted the other chick he’s messing with. Most of the time it’s due to our maturity level, which usually takes place in our late teens to early twenties. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What puzzles me is how some people can turn their nose up at the next person like they didn’t wait 6-years for Lil’ Shooter to get out of jail or haven't caught their mate cheating, yet they still want to stay while their mate does it over and over again. If someone wants to be stupid, let them. In some cases, people have to go through some situations to learn what they will accept and will not accept in a relationship. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just because you have been stupid once, doesn’t mean you have to be stupid all your life. Don’t make the same mistakes over and over in every relationship. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I know now that most of us are older and we look at other people’s situations and say, “Thank God for growth!” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What have you done that was stupid in your past or current relationship that you can actually laugh at now?

Comfortable, Fall, and Food: ADVENTURE AWAITS Why is it important to live life with a little adventure?🤔 - Humans have a tendency to fall into a routine. We wake up in the morning. Go to school or work. Come home. Eat. Sleep. It's the same thing everyday. Yet we are comfortable with the same boring thing all the time. It's our comfort zone. - We live in a spot were we know we are safe and sound. But is that really living? Where is the risk? Where is the adventure? If we aren't living our lives to the fullest then why are we here at all? This is why it's important to live a life with a little adventure. 👀 - Adventure is an experience that greatly impacts one's life and begins to define how they live after, but it is the exact definition that can be different for everyone. For example, someone's sense of adventure may be to go to Mount Everest and conquer the mountain while another person's idea would be to go on a hike in a nearby park. Even though these adventures are different, both people will learn valuable experiences that will ultimately change their lives. - So let's all put our phones, laptops, and tablets down and stop looking at those amazing adventure pictures on the internet and get out there. It doesn't have to be a trip to the Caribbean or the jungle. Remember, everyone's adventure is different; go talk to a random person and befriend them, attend a fancy diner that serves authentic Korean food, or take a themed road trip for a weekend. These are all worthy adventures that beak up the daily norm of our lives. This is how you live. Do something different everyday and you will live a life full of adventure. So what are you waiting for?😉 - adventure motivation millionairementor

Lawyer, Meek Mill, and Memes: Meek Mill Granted Post Conviction Hearing @balleralert Meek Mill Granted Post Conviction Hearing-blogged by @thereal__bee ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Rapper Meek Mill has officially been granted a post-conviction hearing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The same judge who previously sentenced him to two to four years for a probation violation, Judge Genece Brinkley of the Common Pleas Court, has now granted the Philly native a post-conviction hearing due to possible corruption of Meek’s original 2008 case. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ According to previous reports, the rapper’s original 2007 arrest may have involved some corruption as well, and on Feb.14, his attorneys filed a Post-Conviction Relief Act petition concerning his original arrest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office has a secret list of suspect police officers who are not deemed as credible witnesses, one of them being Reginald Graham, a testifying officer in Meek’s 2008 trial. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ The post-conviction hearing has been scheduled to determine what really happened with Meek’s case. His lawyer is confident that the hearing will result in him being released. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ “I mean, there were 800 cases that were dismissed or overturned upon discovery of this group of officers who had been committing crimes, lying about circumstances of arrests, and falsifying documents,” his lawyer said. “One of the officers is the same one who not only arrested Meek but made allegations that Meek has always denied. This is the only one that testified against Meek.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Meek heads to court on April 16.
