 Unpopular opinion: The current state of liberalism in American is maligned
 due to a lack of intellectual curiosity. To be a liberal between the ages of 18-
 25, it means that you've bought the package of dumb ideas sold to you since
 kindergarten. The boomers who control education, the media, entertainment,
 and pop culture have sold you their backwards worldview. It is painfully
 apparent in the lack of intellectual diversity of millennials. The only ones who
 really stand out are the Trotskyites, who at the end of the day are barely
 articulate intellectual weaklings. Most of them read Marx for college without
 reading the volumes of the critics of Marxism. This is how you get Stalin
 apologists, and people who claim that real communism was never
 attempted
 Even more troubling is the opposition to this leitkultur, which I am reluctantly
 aligned with. Libertarians, and really anyone who claims that they are
 fiscally conservative and socially liberal" are insufferable. First of all, their
 definition of "economically conservative" is actually economically liberal
 They are in favor of liberalizing global trade, which includes importing cheap
 shit and cheap labor. Their entire worldview is predicated on greed. I
 assume that they get this from their parents, who would be otherwise liberal
 if they weren't clearing six figures. What you usually get from these types are
 contemptuous little rich kid:s
 However, I digress. Really what I'm trying to say is that this generation is
 dogmatic in its beliefs because of the liberal monopoly on culture (at least in
 any major city). There is such a limited understanding of complex ideas
 because they had the ideas fed to them. Do yourself a favor and listen to
 Jordan Peterson for an hour per day. He is a pretty good gateway drug to
 detoxing your mind. After that, pick up a book, and go on from there. I can't
 say that you'll end up exactly where I am, butI assure you that you will end
 up in a better place than you are in now
