So I finally hit 100 steps-minute on the stairmaster for 45 minutes which is a personal record. I'm not even gon lie like the shit was easy bruh shit damn near killt me - I was sweating and heaving like a pregnant woman at a buffet πŸ€°πŸΌπŸ—πŸ–πŸ•. So I text my lil homegirl to let her know and she said "ok now what." And I'm like "NOW WHAT - IS U CRAZY? SHIT DAMN NEAR KILLED ME!" And she said dead ass: "oh so you're just gonna hit that record and stop? Ok." I'm not gon lie. I was gonna be content stopping at 100 because honestly every workout shouldn't be a near-death experience. In fact, I was about to hit her with the good ol "I WANNA SEE YOU DO THAT." But three things. First, it ain't about her. She got other goals and she reaching for them goals, not mine. Secondly, she could do it if she wanted to because EVERYONE can do almost ANYTHING they put they mind to - u just gotta have the mindset that u can achieve it - I know that sound like some waxy face Tony Robbins "buy my 10 CD set for $199.99" motivational BULLSHIT but it's true! (And I ain't gon charge you two hunnit for it πŸ˜πŸ˜‚). I use to not be able to do a single pull up. Now I can do over 100 with a 20 pound vest. It's just determination. Third...and most important...GETCHU SOME FRIENDS THAT'S NOT GON LET U GET COMFORTABLE. WINNING TAKE DETERMINATION. SO BE DETERMINED AND KICK SOME MF ASS. I'm now at 102 per minute and I'm hoping to hit 103 next workout. Why not? I thought 100 was the limit. U just gotta remind yourself that those limits only exist in your mind 😬. Bless up! (P.s. (Continued from the last post) I'm still crying, I've never cried for this long. I'm been so hurt, I'm not feeling sorry for myself. I'm feeling sorry for Africa. What am I going to do now, go back to slave privileges afforded by the destruction of African people. Capitalism was built on the destruction of Africa. I don't want capitalistic privileges, I don't want a European car, house, clothes, food or European racism. That in my eyes isn't success, I just want to be with my people in my culture in the lands that I was stolen from. Many people won't understand what has been done because they don't read enough about the subject, for all those about to cry privileged tears, talking about "Chaka you can't say Europeans!", I can and I did, sort your f*cking people out. Sitting on the fence talking about kumbaya, while Africa is raped and Africans are murdered by European police across the globe isn't good enough. If you are fighting racism then I applaud you, if you are European, and you take a stand to change things for the better then I applaud you, if you are just here for the memes and banter then you don't have a right to speak. As for f*cking white Jesus all over Africa, F*ck white Jesus, an invented white deity isn't gong to free Africans from white oppression. Neither is Islam, how are the African countries where islam is the main belief system structurally? They are messed up! How are you a religious leader and rich? You can talk all the Allah talk you want, what are you doing for Africans? What is use is there praying everyday but not doing anything. Look at what just happened at grenfell tower, look at how many Africans just died because of racism. Morning guys 😊 β€’ SLOW SUBMITTED BY AIRYNU - There's something wrong with my reflection. Well, I suppose, if we're being honest here, there's been something wrong for years. You see, since I was a child I've always noticed that it could never quite keep up. A reflection should follow your movements precisely, in real-time, with no guesswork involved. But mine is always just a little slow and sometimes just a little off. The first time it happened, it really scared me. Children are very perceptive, you know, and 8-year-old me, with my keen eyes, I could see that something was wrong. I told my parents but they didn't believe me and insisted that it was all in my head. They still forced me to brush my teeth on my own every day despite all of my protests. As I got older, my slow reflection just became a fact of life. Didn't matter where I was, what mirror I was looking into, my reflection just couldn't keep up. I began to make a game of it and see if I could catch it off guard. I would open my eyes really suddenly when washing my face to see if I could get a glimpse. What freaks me out now though isn't my reflection's slow shenanigans. No, I got used to those long ago. What freaks me out now is that today, while washing my face and playing my usual game, I opened my eyes to see my own face staring me down with a sinister smile.
