I sincerely hope my body helps you to become a great doctor. was 55 years old when I kicked off. I was diagnosed with ALS in March of last year and I elected to make the transition to whatever comes next before the disease made that decision for me I was an avid runner, swimmer and outdoor enthusiast. I worked as a veterinary technician and I had two crazy mutts that i loved very much. I played the guitar (poorly) and lived for music.I had a ton of wonderful friends who I miss very much. I often dressed up as a giant dog, drank too much beer, and took myself for walkies. I loved to chat with people, and having a meaningful discussion that was both interesting and insightful was about my favorite pastime. As you work on my body, please remeber that I had a happy, wonderful life, and you are permitted to giggle at my weird architecture, ooh and aah at the intricacies of my innards, and generally have fun as you learn. A lot of the problem with the movies Disney is remaking as “live action’ is that they’re not MEANT to be live action. Many of them had a distinct use of art style, talking animals, and visual elements that simply don’t look as nice in a hyperrealistic medium no matter how well you apply special effects. And a lot of elements are so fantastical that you’d need copius amounts of CGI to replicate it in ‘real’ life but you still wouldn’t get the same feel. The digitally-rendered animals in The Lion King look awkward. Dumbo looks nightmarish with his humanlike eyes. Beauty and the Beast felt lackluster with its dull realism instead of the saturated animation. Now, Atlantis and Treasure Planet would work brilliantly in a realistic medium because it deals with mostly-human characters and visual effects in those movies would transition flawlessly into live action. The alien creatures of Treasure Planet, the pirate’s ships and technology would look beautiful if rendered into realism. Atlantis would work even better with an all-human cast and their technology, and it’d doubly work as a chance to cast nonwhite actors into lead roles.

The same money that goes to feed these kids goes to kill hundreds more in the Middle East. It’s absolutely ridiculous to act like the vast majority of taxes are just their “to benefit society“ instead of starting wars and lining the pockets of bureaucrats who regulate our freedoms into oblivion.

But that’s just it, the money we spent on those programs is peanuts in the grand scheme of how much we are taxed. My point is that when people express concern over taxation, they are almost immediately accused of not caring for humanitarian efforts, as though the government is the only humanitarian organization out there when in fact the government is the most inefficient and terrible humanitarian organizations out there.

When you are a pet owner it is inevitable, the majority of the time, that your pet will die before you do. So if and when you have to take your pet to the vet's office for a humane pain-free ending I want you all to know something. You have been the center of their world for THEIR ENTIRE LIVES!!!! They may just be a part of yours but all they know is you as their family. It is a crappy decision/day/time/event every time, there is no argument against that and it is devastating for us as humans to lose them. But please I beg you DO NOT LEAVE THEM. Do not make them transition from life to death in a room of strangers in a place they don't like. The thing you people need to know that most of you don't is that THEY SEARCH FOR YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE THEM BEHIND!!!! They search every face in the room for their loved person. They don't understand why you left them when they are sick, scared, old or dying from cancer and they need your comfort. Don't be a coward because you think it is just too hard for YOU, imagine what they feel as you leave them in their most vulnerable time and people like me are left to try our best every time to comfort them, make them less scared and try to explain why you just couldn't stay.
