Animals, Desperate, and Dogs: sistercrow stormcloak Cilford the Big Red Dog by Sandara OH MY GOD Can we have a Clifford live action movie? Not a kids movie either Like, Emily Elizabeth's parents are working for a government agency developing a super soldier serum. None of their testing is working and they start testing the serum on larger mammals in hopes of seeing better results. They inject a variety of animals, including a dog Nothing. They are desperate and on the verge of having their project shut down when they notice one of the test dogs is pregnant. It gives birth and they bring one of the puppies home for their daughter To their shock, the puppy they brought home starts to grow at an incredible rate, its fur mutating into a brilliant red as it does so. They are ecstatic because their research has finally seen a result, albeit one they weren't expecting. There is only one problem Clifford has become attached to Emily and refuses to leave her side Emily, too, has fallen in love with her new pet. They decide to let their project be canceled rather than try to separate the two. Unfortunately the government discovers their secret and begins a campaign to retrieve Clifford at any costs. During the initial conflict, Emily Elizabeth's parents are killed trying to help her and Clifford escape Emily and her dog flee into the wild. This sets the opening of the movie Over the course of the movie, Emily and Clifford are on the run and we see Emily grow into a young woman, everything about her honed into a survivalist expert. She and Clifford roam the backwoods constantly in fear of being captured. On one of her rare trips into towrn one day, Emily witnesses a bank robbery in progress involving multiple hostages. She calls Clifford and the two of them save the lives of the hostages but wreck the bank in the process. The local news capture footage of Clifford and it isn't long before the military arrives in town Emily wants to just run away again, but she sees that the military is destroying the town, driving people out of their homes and destroying property in their search. She decides that enough is enough and rides Clifford back into town and fights the military. Amidst the fighting a huge truck arrives. A general (who was her parent's superior officer) gets out and smirks. He tells Emily Elizabeth that Clifford's mother wasn't the only animal that gave birth to a litter of babies after receiving an injection. The back of the truck unfolds to reveal a massive tabby cat. The cat strains against its bindings and tears free immediately leaping onto a nearby group of soldiers and devouring them. Emily is horrified and orders Clifford to attack What follows is the dramatic battle between Clifford and the mutant cat. Clifford has strength, but the cat is too fast and agile. It looks like Clifford is down for the count, when the townsfolk, recognizing that Clifford is on their side, come to his aid. They distract the cat long enough for him to finish the beast off for good The military retreats, the general swearing vengeance on the two of them, and Emily and Clifford ride off into the night once more. But the legend of the big red dog has already started. And Emily Elizabeth knows that the day will come when she and Clifford will need to ride into battle against the forces of evil once more The credits roll Post credits, the screen fades to black for a moment. This is one example of the Mandela Effect phenomena, where an iconic moment is reenacted with a hippy woman so many times that people think that’s the story and thus another gay man is written out of history. Thanks for the photo.

I had no idea. Wow.

This photo was taken by Bernie Boston, a black/native man who willingly stood up to a chapter of the KKK and earned their respect among other things
I get the subject is important, but please dont erase Bernie. I knew him personally and he deserves to be remembered and by only remembering the subject, a white man, you erase a black man.

@vaspider could you reblog this version too, please? I am deeply upset by Bernie’s erasure from his own work.

Reblogging for credit to the photographer, and so I can look up his work on desktop later.

I think the reason some people think it was a woman who put the flower in the Gun barrel is because of this picture taken at the same protest

Yeah lmao “the Mandela effect in action” no there’s just two different pictures

plot thickens :O

Bad, Books, and Children: When people say these books are children's books, as if to demean them, I balk. These books dealt with themes that adults do not fully understand or wish to. It dealt with racism, classism, sexism, homophobia, prejudice, and general ignorance. These books taught us that it doesn't matter how you were raised, but at you get to choose to be kind, loyal, brave, and true. They taught us to be strong u nder the pressures of this world and to hold fast to what we know to be right. These books taught me so much, they changed me as a person. So just ause they're set against a fantastical backdrop with young protagonists does not mean that their value is any less real This First book Starts with the double murder of a pair of twenty-one year olds who e much missed and leaving their baby son a war orphan abusive conditions that would give Cinderella the horrors. Dealing with peers and teachers who are bulies. The fickleness of fame (from the darling of Gryffindor to the outcast.) The idea that there are things worth fighting and dying for, spoken by the child protagonist. Three children promptly acting on that willingness to sacrifice their lives, and two of them getting injured doing so Second book. The equivalent of racism with the pro-pureblood attitude by an eleven year old girl being groomed and then used by a charming, handsome older male. The imbalance of power and resultant abuse inherent in slavery. Fraud perpetuated by stealing something very intimate. Plot driven hird book: The equivalent of ableism with a decent, kind and competant adult being considered less than human because he has an illness that adversely affects his behaviour at certain times. A justice system that is the opposite of just. Promises of removing an abused child from the abusive environment can't always be kept. The innocent suffer while the guilty thrive. Fouth book: More fickleness of fame. The privileged mistreating and undermining the underprivileged because they can. A master punishing a slave for his own misjudgment, and the slave blaming herself. A sports tournament which involves mortal risk being cheered by spectators. A wonderful young man being murdered y because he was in the way. A young boy being tortured, humilated and nearly murdered. Fifth book: PTSD in the teenage protagonist. Severe depression in the protagonist's godfather, triggered by inherited mental health issues and being forced to stay in a house where abuse occured. A bigoted tyrant who lives to crush everyone under her heel, torturing a teenager for telling the truth in the name of the government (and trying to suck his soul out too). The discovery that your idols can feet of clay after all. An effort to save the life of someone dear and precious actually costing that very same life. Upon further investigation, officials found an adult shoe, a diaper bag and a wallet with an ID that belonged to 21-year-old Jasmine Dunbar. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As a result, officials contacted Dunbar’s family, who had confirmed the baby belonged to the 21-year-old. But, where was the young woman? Dunbar’s godmother told police that her goddaughter had organized a meeting with Antwaun Ware to discuss establishing paternity for her 7-month-old daughter. But, she never returned. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When officials finally got in contact with Ware, he said he picked Dunbar and her daughter up and dropped her back off after they got into an argument over the paternity test. But, he later changed his story, allegedly telling officials that he physically assaulted the woman and left her in a field. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As for the baby, he reportedly told officials that he dropped the baby near his girlfriend’s house because he thought someone would retrieve her and take care of her. However, after leaving the baby on the side of the road, he told officials that he returned to Dunbar’s body and set her on fire with gasoline and watched her body burn. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As a result, Ware was charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of kidnapping and one count of abandonment of a body, and child abuse. He is currently being held on a $1 million bond.

Facebook, Memes, and Party: Washington State Man Arrested and Charged After Raping A Young Woman As She Died From Overdose @balleralert Washington State Man Arrested and Charged After Raping A Young Woman As She Died From Overdose - blogged by @MsJennyb ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A Washington State man is facing a slew of charges for raping a young woman as she died from an overdose. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ According to PEOPLE, the incident occurred earlier this month at a party, where 18-year-old Alyssa Mae Noceda snorted a line of crushed Percocet pills before she ingested a “dab” of liquid THC that she received from the 19-year-old suspect, Brian Roberto Varela. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Within less than a minute, Varela said Noceda passed out on his bed. According to the arrest warrant, as Noceda died in his room, Varela texted a group of his co-workers about his situation with pictures, saying “LOL I think she OD’d, still breathing, I’m smashing her to pass the time.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Varela then used the young woman’s finger to unlock her phone and post a message on her Snapchat to suggest she had run away. He then took a nap next to Noceda’s lifeless body, just before clocking in for a double-shift at Dairy Queen, where he disclosed more details about his night with Noceda. “She died having sex with me,” he told his co-workers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However, the co-workers quickly informed officials about Varela’s situation, as they linked Noceda’s name to her worried mother’s Facebook page. After gathering the information, officials had enough probable cause for an arrest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They then went to Varela’s home, where they found Noceda’s lifeless body stuffed in a plastic crate in his bedroom. The 19-year-old was then arrested and charged with rape, manslaughter, and homicide by controlled substance with a $500,000 bond for each charge.
